Sales/Marketing Coordinator is involved in all aspects of marketing, including: planning, advertising, promotions, public/media relations, product development, distribution, sponsorship, and research. Responsibilities:
- Contributing to long-term marketing plans and strategies;
- Liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, eg customers, suppliers, colleagues;
- Building and maintaining positive corporate image for company.
- Maintaining a consistent brand in all company interactions with a range of stakeholders. E.g. clients, customers, suppliers, professional associations, etc.
- Developing advertising opportunities, which can involve placing adverts in national, regional and specialist publications,
- Maintaining and building contacts with the Home Health Associations
- Writing and distributing press releases;
- Assisting with trade show and event planning, creating or updating presentation software files, tracking budgets and expenses, and communicating with external creative service providers.
- Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers - this can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers;
- Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials;
- Maintaining and updating mailing databases;
- Organizing and attending events and exhibitions;
- Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness;
- Evaluating marketing campaigns;
- Monitoring competitor activity;
- Additional responsibilities may include processing expense reports, coordinating the submission of proposals, planning meetings, tracking sales progress
- Analyzing pricing positions;
- Managing budgets
- Supporting the company President, and other colleagues.
- Planning and implementing the marketing effort of the organization's products and services
- Monitoring market changes and adjusting marketing strategies accordingly in order to remain competitive within the changing market
- Maximizing client acquisition through the use of numerous marketing outlets
- Maximizing the utilization of advertising and marketing tools in order to assess customer analysis, company analysis, and competitor analysis
- Measuring the return on investment and marketing effectiveness of various marketing initiatives
- Identifying strategic objectives and implement marketing strategy according to budgetary limitations
Requirements:
- Home health industry experience preferred. Health Care industry experience a plus.
- 5+ years of successful sales/marketing experience and proven ability to exceed sales goals
- Prior experience with a web-based software is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and anticipate customer needs.
- Ability to travel regularly
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a good sense of humor
- Experience in effectively using a consultative selling style
- Demonstrable proficiency with the Web, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience conducting product demonstrations via web conferencing is preferred
- Experience using CRM databases
- Desire and ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
