The successful candidate will for provide clinical, administrative and management consulting services to company clients. The individual will also support our unique products and services that improve the lives of patients across the country by helping home health agencies increase revenue, decrease costs, improve compliance, improve collaboration and productivity. This is a Dallas-based job.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and administrative consulting services to company customers
- Participates in operational strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with directors, and department heads for the growth of the company's clinical consulting business
- Participate in the development of new products, services and initiatives to grow company's quality assurance and training business.
- Participate in developing new business, specifically, assist in determining the scope of prospective service delivery.
- Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans.
- Deliver and participate in the delivery of all the services of the clinical consulting department.
- Development and Implementation of Quality Assurance policies for Home Health Agencies.
- Develop tools to improve the Quality Assurance process for Home Health Agencies.
- Developing guidelines for measuring clinical documentation compliance for Home Health Agencies
- Conducting remote and on-site clinical Quality Assurance audits.
- Identify and Educate clients on deficient areas of clinical documentation identified.
- Establish guidelines on OASIS implementation and conflict resolution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of home health industry experience required.
- Prior experience as a Director of Nursing or Administrator at a home health agency preferred.
- Nursing (RN) or bachelor's degree a plus.
- Prior training and/or public speaking experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good sense of humor.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrable proficiency utilizing the Web, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to travel 50%.
